- To seek God's guidance in every decision I make for my life and to live according to His commands in obedience and developing disciples. The church needs to assert its relevancy in today's society and can only do so by maintaining an unwavering grasp on Biblical truths by neither adding nor detracting from the Bible. Only through our acceptance of the authority of Jesus Christ and God's word (the Bible) can we truly move forward in carrying out the great commission.

I want to clear up any misconceptions about the church body and our unity. I have a simple etiquette lesson for non-Christians visiting our churches:
As I sat in church listening to Ken Ham re-tell some Biblical stories, I was surprised to see 3 members from the Modesto Junior College Science department sitting in on what I'm sure they thought would be a pickle barrel of straw men and red herring accounts of creationism. As Mr. Ham brought up the story of the tower of Babel, I watched one of my old biology professors throw up her hands in exasperation at the story. At… Continue
