Who's Randy? That would be me. As you can see, God has blessed Lisa and I with two beautiful children - Alyssa and Aaron.

Accepting Christ at the age of seven, I’ve found, was the easiest part of my walk with Him. The challenge of living a Christian life in the world today is literally impossible - without the proper help. Believe me, I’ve tried it. To stand up against the temptations of the world and fight that battle on my own was futile. Finally giving up and giving in, I succumbed to the fact that I cannot do it on my on. That’s when God began to work on me, in me and through me. That’s when I finally surrendered wholly and completely to Him.

Since that time, God laid Emailinistry (now known as Truth Works Devotions) on my heart, to reach out to those young people that struggle day in and day out with the temptations of this world. I’ve also published a book, entitled "i tell you the TRUTH." The basis for this book is 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. (NIV)" In the book, we discover that power, love and self-discipline are obtainable and timidity is avoidable.

I recently served as Interim Youth Minister at my home church, Memorial Baptist Church in Beckley, WV. I also teach our College/Young Adult Sunday School Class (K-9 Unit) and work with our Junior and Senior High Youth on Wednesday nights. During summer months, I lead a college group (Off Campus) every Wednesday night. I'm also involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as a member of the West Virginia Southern Region Board. I've also served as board member of Crossculture Ministries. Of course, my greatest and favorite ministry is my family, when I’m able to sit down at bedtime and read God’s word to my children.
