What are some ways we can help the homeless? This can range from simple, small efforts to robust visions.

"Around Indianapolis, older homeless people (most with some kind of disability) are starting to have advocates that simply help with the paper work. I know of two people that now rent a nice apartment who were homeless. Just helping fill out paper work and keep calling on their behalf helps a lot. If you can get a list of the largest cities and set up people there it would be a easy way to help many."

Would love to hear more thoughts on this, including lists of organizations who already do such. There are other administrative/logistical needs that the homeless have....; ▶ Reply to This

Jesus was homeless my dear friends. In God's lovingkindnesses, He gathered the homeless, the poorest of the poor who are BLESSED by God, so that those who have the Holy Spirit as THIER COMFORTER, would GO and MAKE DISCIPLES. If you trust the Lord to keep His promise, He will promise to KEEP YOU TOO. From Feb 2006 until Feb 2007, the Lord and I went on an adventure into homlessness. It wasn't until September/October, that God allowed me to actually live with the homeless at a Salvation Army shelter. There, he let me be SALT & LIGHT among the people...FOR WE ARE TO WATER AND PLANT, BUT IT IS HE WHOP CAUSES THE INCREASE!!!; ▶ Reply to This
